Born and raised in Bedford New York….attended public schools there and was an entrepreneur at the age of 18 where she started and ran her own gourmet food truck cooking for over twenty five different companies. Kathie prepared each meal by hand and delivered it to a growing list of clients. Kathie had a passion for food from a very early age. At age 6 Kathie would cook her mom and dad breakfast in bed….not just any ordinary breakfast….but French toast with bacon and eggs served with fresh squeezed orange juice!! Kathie always cooked everything from scratch….no shortcuts ever… as the years went on, she blossomed into a self taught chef. Kathie has been a guest on News Channel 8’s hit show CT Style and has appeared on QVC She has also been featured in several news stories and articles on healthy foods. Kathie has also won the National Gallo Family Gold Medal Award and other awards from Connecticut Specialty foods for outstanding snack for her Sea Salt and Cinnamon and Sugar and Coco Joe dry roasted and shelled gourmet pumpkin seeds
As a sole entrepreneur Kathie has grown her company Kathie’s Kitchen and Superseedz into a 1.5 million dollar company….and continues to grow Kathie takes great pleasure in personally keeping in touch with all of her supporters and clients….in fact she still works the entire seventeen days at her booth in the Connecticut house at the Big E Eastern States Exposition every year With the obesity epidemic our country faces especially with the youth of our nation Kathie’s Kitchen’s Superdseedz can help.
